Today, we are chatting with Filippo Ferrante, an Italian based in Leeds, UK.

In virtual reality, you can meet Filippo in MarineVerse Sailing Club as Filippo (sail number 25142). Filippo races in Yacht Pro with a current DRP rating of 1425 and is currently ranked #184 in the Yacht Pro league.

Filippo is also sailing in Globe, currently near Sydney!

We have asked Filippo a couple of questions..

What is your sailing experience?

Never sailed for real apart from the odd rowing boat. I’ve always been looking for a real sailing game and it doesn’t get any better than MarineVerse.

What is your favourite sailing memory?

Watching the America’s Cup.

Tell us something about your experience with MarineVerse Sailing Club? Any good memories or highlights?

Cannot get any closer to sailing if not through MarineVerse. Brilliant game. Great to challenge everyday same sailors from around the world.

Who and why should try MarineVerse Sailing Club?

Anybody that has a passion for sailing even if you’ve never sailed before!

Any tips for those new to sailing that want to race in MarineVerse?

Try all the different boats and techniques. I’m stuck and love sailing the yacht.

Anything else you’d like to share?

Would love to see the multiplayer aspect of the game grow.
