MarineVerse 2019 highlights
We have created MarineVerse to inspire, train and connect sailors. In 2019 Over 10,000 new people have experienced sailing in virtual reality with MarineVerse. Let’s have a look at some highlights from the last 12 months!
Quest to democratize sailing
In July we have started accepting Oculus Quest users to participate in Big Breezy Boat and MarineVerse Cup “betas” while we develop the apps.
We believe that standalone VR devices like Oculus Quest can be a great tool for sailing clubs and sailors interested in practicing aspects of sailing in a safe and interactive learning environment.

MarineVerse Cup is a competitive VR sailing game that wants to bring multiplayer yacht racing to every VR headset owner.
We’re creating MarineVerse Cup for both gamers who enjoy advanced simulations, and sailors who want to sharpen their racing skills off the water. The game itself is a product of years of research, development, design, and testing.
MarineVerse Cup is currently in Free to Play alpha and you can download it on Steam now.

VR Regatta - behind the scenes
VR Regatta is an immersive, interactive virtual reality sailing experience. For the first time it is possible to go sailing in your living room and actually have fun.
Earlier this year we had a chance to collaborate with HTC Vive team on a video as a part of Viveport Developer Stories series, giving you a unique chance to learn more about VR Regatta and MarineVerse team. This is the result:
